Secularism has been around for a long time in Indonesia. The influence of secularism that entered the Islamic world began during the era of western imperialism on the Islamic world. The world of the west has a considerable impact on something on this earth. This causes some Muslims to imitate what western culture does, one of which is secularism. Of course, this secularism was met with opposition and resistance from Islamic figures. This paper aims to examine and explain the ideology and process of secularism in Indonesia from the perspective of Islamic da'wah. These results and research prove that secularism is a view that is contrary to Islamic teachings, separating world affairs from religious affairs. Unfortunately, there are not a few Muslims who adhere to secularism; they act freely in dealing with world affairs and religion, reject Islamic law, and do not even believe in the Koran and religion as a trustworthy guide to life. This is a big challenge in Islamic da'wah. This needs serious attention and handling from Islamic leaders, scholars, and Muslims.
