URGENSI KEBIJAKAN KUHP (KITAB UNDANG-UNDANG HUKUM PIDANA)

Urgensi Kebijakan KUHP sangat penting karena berperan dalam menjaga ketertiban dan keadilan di masyarakat Indonesia. Sejak diberlakukan pada tahun 1918, KUHP telah menjadi dasar utama penegakan hukum pidana. Beberapa revisi telah dilakukan untuk menyesuaikan dengan perkembangan zaman dan kebutuhan keadilan yang kompleks. Sebagai landasan hukum yang mengatur tindak pidana dan hukumannya, KUHP memiliki peran vital dalam memelihara ketertiban dan menegakkan keadilan. Oleh karena itu, kebijakan hukum pidana dalam KUHP memiliki urgensi yang tak dapat diabaikan, mengingat dampaknya yang sangat mendalam dalam menjaga kedamaian dan keadilan bagi seluruh warga negara Indonesia.
