ANALISIS PERAN ZAKAT MELALUI BAITUL MAL DALAM MENGURANGI KEMISKINAN DI ACEH BARAT DAYA

Abstract

The research will conduct an empirical analysis of the impact of utilization and distribution of zakat as an effort to reduce poverty level, by taking a case study at Baitul Mal Southwest Aceh. The data type used is primary data with 251 respondents who were selected randomly, given a questionnaire, and interviewed. The result of the research indicates that zakat distribution by Baitul Mal Southwest Aceh generally can reduce the amount and percentage of the poor family, as well as decreasing the depth and severity of poverty. By doing so the effort of improving the quality of the distribution program, both consumptive distribution and productive utilization must be continued.
